ME Living Inc. / COCAS

SMS Consent & Messaging

Effective August 28, 2026

Program purpose

ME Living / COCAS uses SMS for non-marketing client-service communications such as appointment reminders, registration and document follow-up, service coordination, secure-portal notifications, requested status updates, and replies to client questions.

How you opt in

SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of receiving ME Living / COCAS services. On the public registration page, you may enter a mobile number and separately select the unchecked optional SMS consent box. You may also provide SMS permission through a signed communication-preference workflow.

By affirmatively opting in, you authorize recurring SMS messages related to your client-service relationship at the mobile number you provided. Message frequency varies based on appointments, follow-up needs, and your requested services. Message and data rates may apply.

Opt out and help

Reply STOP to opt out of future SMS messages from the applicable ME Living messaging program. Reply HELP for help. You may also update your communication preferences through ME Living / COCAS.

For assistance, call 888-635-1022 or email customerservice@cocas.org.

Privacy and message content

Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, and messaging consent are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. ME Living uses service providers only as necessary to deliver authorized communications.

SMS is not used as the primary channel for sensitive clinical details. When appropriate, messages direct clients to the secure portal or care team instead of including sensitive information in a text.

No purchased lists or cold-text marketing

ME Living / COCAS does not use purchased mobile-number lists for this client-service messaging program. Messages are sent to people who provide their number and affirmatively opt in, or who otherwise provide documented messaging permission.

Carrier notice

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery can depend on carrier, device, network, and account conditions.
